Come and piece the story of cinema together with Searle.
This course looks at the history of (largely) European Art Film, with an eye to a targeted Jewish audience. Over the duration of the lecture series you will look at specific examples of Soviet Cinema of the 1920s, Weimar Expressionist film, Surrealism, Italian (and American) Neorealism, French New Wave, New German Cinema, Israeli art film and UK anthropological documentary. Come and piece the story of cinema together with Searle.

⢠UK Anthropological Documentary II: Stephen Walker and Catherine Glenny (The Waiting Room)
