the story of America’s expansion across the continent and its industrialisation


Largely the story of America’s expansion across the continent and its industrialisation, the course will also look at The Civil War of the 1860s, the abolition of slavery, the Monroe Doctrine, and colonial forays. It will finish just as World War One begins in Europe.
