Making a film is a complex undertaking and it's crucial to the future success of your project that you are aware of IP issues which could prevent your moving image work to be shown in galleries, at festivals or distributed widely.
When: 08.06.10 at 18:30
Where: LCC, Elephant & Castle, London , SE1 6SB
Cost: Free, Register at Own-it.org
This workshop will look at different contexts and platforms for showing work and the different expectations associated with them. Industry experts will discuss how and when to clear rights and the risks and requirements involved with different levels of profile and exposure â“ from galleries to festivals, to cinemas and broadcast.
This event is delivered in two modules: the first module will cover different aspects of the topic via various presentations and a Q&A session; the second will be an interactive workshop where delegates can discuss real live case studies and suggest solutions under the supervision of a lawyer.
This two-module event will take place on Tuesday 8 June and Thursday 17 June. By booking a place, you will be automatically registered for both events.
