Who invented science?

Explore what science is and what it means to be a scientist

Explore what science is and what it means to be a scientist with science writer Brian Clegg, founder of science training group Creativity Unleashed Limited. Discover how the concept of science has evolved over time, from the Ancient Greeks through to the modern day. Why do we do science? Why is it so important? And just who exactly was our first scientist – Archimedes? Roger Bacon? Leonardo da Vinci? Galileo? Maxwell, even? Hear a case for each of these famous individuals to be given the accolade and then cast your vote at the end of the lecture.
