DECORATIVE ARTS IN RENAISSANCE PAINTING


This lecture will concentrate on decorative arts portrayed in Renaissance painting, for instance so-called ‘Lotto’ carpets. As a conclusion, it will assess the status of decorative arts both in the Renaissance and modern art history.
