Occupational Asthma Workshop

Addresses issues in the diagnosis of occupational asthma and work-exacerbated asthma, including workplace surveillance.


Main audience - Occupational Health Advisers, Occupational Health Nurses and Practice Nurses – but all OH-related professionals and researchers are equally welcome.

Description - The day covers current issues in the diagnosis of occupational asthma and work-exacerbated asthma, and examines the role of the Occupational Heath Practitioner in this process. Workplace surveillance and other preventive issues are covered. The implications for patients with such a diagnosis is discussed, and an interview with a patient volunteer is presented.
