Man with a Blue Scarf: On Sitting for a Portrait by Lucian Freud

Martin Gayford talks about what it is like to model for Lucian Freud.

Lucian Freud spent seven months painting a portrait of art critic Martin Gayford. The resulting book recounts their conversations and gives a rare insight into the artist's working practice. Gayford introduces his book with Freud's assistant and photographer, David Dawson, and Dr. Richard Cork, and signs copies after the discussion.
