Of the Beaten Track Talk Series: Coming to Britain

It is sometimes forgotten that, as well as British women travelling overseas, women from overseas travelled to Britain, be it for pleasure and exploration, or to further their education and careers. Dr Caroline Bressey will look at the lives of some of these women, what they thought of Britain, and the impact their presence had on British society.
