Nature as a Building Block

Architect Edouard François discusses using nature as a construction material in buildings.

Join internationally renowned architect Edouard François who has become one of the main protagonists of green architecture. François has come to prominence through projects in France such as the Fouquet's and the Flower Tower in Paris, which deploy vegetation as a construction material, thermal agent and iconic façade device.
François' work focuses on context, environment, landscape, economy and innovation, with designs that integrate both the natural and built environments.
