International Growth Centre and Department for International Development (DFID) public lecture
This event marks the launch of a new DFID approach to private sector investment in developing countries and is the Department's first high profile outreach to the business community since the formation of the new coalition government.
The event is presented in partnership with the Financial Times magazines The Banker and This is Africa.
Andrew Mitchell is Secretary of State for International Development.
Paul Collier is Professor of Economics at Oxford University and academic co-director of the International Growth Centre.
