A short film (55 mins) & discussion with Christopher Miles, the film’s director, about Lord Elgin’s controversial removal of the Parthenon marbles from the Acropolis. Filmed in authentic locations in Greece and incorporating primary evidence from the period including the Elgin letters and Lord Byron's bitter attack on the whole proceedings. This film tries to explain Lord Elgin's real motives.
