Images and Stories: Beverley Naidoo

Book cover: Beverley Naidoo's Journey to Jo'burg Beverley Naidoo is an award winning South African writer whose widely-acclaimed Journey to Jo'burg (1985) was banned by the Apartheid government. Today she reads from her books (including Out of Bounds) and talks about images from South Africa's past and present that have inspired her. She and her audience will also take an imaginary journey behind some images in the exhibition Mr Mkhize's Portrait and Other Stories from the New South Africa.
