Lessons from the financial crisis

Andrew Bailey the Executive Director, Banking and Chief Cashier at the Bank of England gives a lecture at New Walk Museum, Leicester


Andrew Bailey will describe the origins of the global financial crisis, the weaknesses that it revealed in the financial system and the issues that need to be tackled in order to establish a more stable system. He will draw on his extensive involvement as head of the Bank of England's resolution activities to illustrate his lecture.
