Public's Fear

A discussion with Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard.

Since producing Radio Mania: An Abandoned Work in 2009 for the BFI, Forsyth & Pollard have been interested in the performer/audience dynamic as played out in stand-up comedy. This is most directly explored in Performer. Audience. F*** Off, featured in their South London Gallery exhibition, a work which they are currently developing into a live performance that will tour the UK later in 2011, performed each night by a different comic.

The artists host a discussion looking at the humour and tension between a performer and their audience with a personally selected panel of stand-up comedians including including Robin Ince, Jo Neary and Ben Moor.
