Professor Rudi Keller from the University of Duesseldorf, Germany, speaks on theories of language change.
Author of On Language Change: The invisible hand in language, the nature of how language transforms has been a central research interest in Professor Kellerâs career. The book successfully adapts the famous theory of economist Adam Smith to a linguistic context. The talk today will be of interest to those interested in linguistics, sociology, psychology, and the wider application of socio-economic concepts.
