LSE Sustainability in Practice lecture
Polly Higgins advocates a different approach to preventing the destruction of our planet. Instead of our laws protecting the property rights of the few, we can shift to laws that impose responsibilities, duties and obligations for the benefit of the many.
Polly Higgins is a barrister, author and international environmental lawyer, voted
by the Ecologist as one of the 'Worlds Top ten Visionary Thinkers' for her earlier work advancing the Universal Declaration of Planetary Rights.
