Much ado about nothing.
The conception of ânothingâ has played a crucial role in the development of logic, mathematics, physics, philosophy and theology. We shall see how these currents have led to the modern picture of the âvacuumâ in quantum physics and how its non-uniqueness and changeability lie at the root of our modern picture of the universe.
