Biddulph and its place in Victorian Gardens

Brent Elliott, author of Victorian Gardens, speaks on the importance of Biddulph Grange Garden


Biddulp Grange Garden was one of the most important gardens of its day. Its development was described in great detail in the Gardeners Chronicle. As well as a collection of plants from around the world, James Bateman linked historical and religious themes to the design.
