James Bateman and his Garden

Richard Wheeler, Gardens & Parks Curator, describes the layout and plants collected for Biddulph Grange Garden.

James Bateman, a fellow of the RHS used his links with many similar organisations and fellow collectors to bring a world of plants to Biddulph Grange Garden. These are described by the National Trust's curator.
