Fraternise ⓠthe Salon offers a collectible range of contemporary art works. Contributing artists include those at the top of the commercial game and others who are, as yet, unknown in the auction room. With prices ranging from £5 ⓠ£20,000 this exhibition offers a special opportunity to exercise your judgment and perhaps risk your aesthetic arm, by starting or expanding a collection.
Sales benefit both participating artists and Beaconsfield, and support the future work of the organisation.
Nina Miall is a director at leading contemporary art gallery Haunch of Venison (London/Berlin/NewYork). In recent years she has curated exhibitions by Philippe Parreno, Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, Zhang Huan, Eve Sussman, Mat Collishaw and Jitish Kallat, among others. From 2002-2005 Nina ran the Public Programme at the Royal Academy of Arts, before undertaking a Masters in contemporary art at the Courtauld Institute. She has written widely on contemporary art, contributing essays and interviews to exhibition catalogues and to publications such as Art & Australia and the Saatchi Gallery website. Nina sits on Beaconsfieldâs board of trustees.
