This symposium will discuss issues around animal welfare and its impacts upon sustainability and food security, featuring talks by world experts.
The event will discuss issues around animal welfare and its impacts upon sustainability and food security and will feature three world experts on animal welfare:
Dr. Temple Grandin, Colorado State University
Professor Michael C Appleby, Chief Scientific Adviser, World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA)
Dr. Jon Huxley, Clinical Associate Professor, Farm Animal Production Medicine at the University of Nottingham
There will also be an opportunity to meet and prof. Appleby and purchase a signed copy of his new edited work Animal Welfare, 2nd Edition.
Registration for the event costs £45.00 (incl. VAT) and includes admission, refreshments and a buffet lunch.
Students can register for the event at a discounted price of £25.
