Born in Cheltenham, Felicity Lott is an English soprano who has performed at all the great opera houses of the world and worked with the greatest conductors (Andrew Davis, Bernard Haitink, Vladimir Jurowski, Carlos Kleiber, Antonio Pappano and Simon Rattle). She has received many honorary doctorates, including those from the universities of Oxford, London, Leicester, the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama Glasgow and La Sorbonne in Paris.
