Discussion: The Real World: Always an Artist?

This session looks at the creative, innovative and sometimes surprising ways that professional visual artists make a living. Many artists teach in art schools -
but artists have also worked in libraries (Duchamp), brokerage (Koons) and the law (Matisse) to make an honest buck. What relationships or influences cross over from parallel work into artistic practice, and what does art practice bring back to ‘everyday life’? At its core, this discussion asks the question: are you always an artist? With Charlotte Ginsborg and Edith Marie Pasquier.
