Frankenstein (1931) on the Big Screen

Dr. Joe Cain (UCL Science and Technology Studies) introduces one of the greatest monster movies ever made: James Whales’ 1931 version of Frankenstein.


Boris Karloff stars in the role that defined his career, as the monster manufactured by the original ‘mad scientist’ and his hunch-backed assistant.
