Faith on the Frontiers: On the Frontiers of Atheism

Prolific scholar and artist gives this lecture on faith and atheism at St Martin-in-the-Fields.

Our Autumn Education Series 2013 seeks to examine what it means to have faith when one's faith is on a particular frontier, challenged by and challenging the prevailing culture. What does it mean to have faith in those places where we are no longer sure of the answers? Faith on the Frontiers will explore these new realities as opportunities to respond to the world with a new integrity and a new authenticity.

Richard Kearney is a prolific scholar and artist, with more than twenty books on contemporary European philosophy, narrative theory and postmodern Christianity. His latest book, "Anatheism" charts a path of 'returning to God after God.'
