Just Festival: PhD and a Cup of Tea

An afternoon workshop with PhD student Catrina Kirkland

As part of this year's Just Festival, we're hosting an afternoon workshop with PhD student Catrina Kirkland. She will present her research on the following question -

'How do Year 9 students make sense of The Holocaust when they learn about it in their history lessons?'

Catrina is a former secondary school history teacher who is now a PhD student at UCL Institute of Education. During the 1 hour session refreshments will be served and attendees are encouraged to discuss Catrina's research.
