Outside the Asylum: Community Psychiatry Nursing

Paul Godin discusses the rise of community nursing in Britain from the 1950s.


Community Psychiatric Nurses (CPNs) are based outside mental health hospitals. Paul Godin is a Senior Lecturer in Sociology at the St. Bartholomew School of Nursing and Midwifery at City University, UK. He will be discussing the rise of community nursing in Britain from the 1950s.
Open to all and refreshments provided.
