The Frontline and the Institute for War & Peace Reporting would like to invite you to the second event in our Newsmaker series - an exclusive interview and extended dialogue between one of our members and people making the news. Following the recent release of Christian Chesnot and George Malbrunot, we are delighted to invite you to attend an exclusive dialogue between the two French journalists held captive for four months in Iraq and Allan little, BBC Paris Correspondent.
Who were the captors and what was their exact agenda? How much does the hostages’ ordeal tell us about the nature of the resistance? Can any lessons be learnt from the French government successful mediation to facilitate the hostage negotiations for Forence Aubenas and Hussein Hanoun Al-Saadi?
