A lecture from the series 'Surgeons at War: Trafalgar to Tikrit'.
Mobilised at 10 days notice, I went out to the Kuwait-Iraq border in the most recent Gulf War in 2003. The 202 Field Hospital took over the running of the only British Field Hospital set up for the first 10 days of the war. We received both British and Iraqi casualties. This lecture will cover my experiences of working in a tented hospital in the desert.
