The journalist and terrorism analyst Peter Bergen speaks with Yosri Fouda of Al-Jazeera about his latest book, The Osama bin Laden I Know: An Oral History of al Qaeda’s Leader.

Few journalists know more about Osama bin Laden than Peter Bergen. In 1997, well before bin Laden became a household name, Bergen interviewed him, and listened as he quietly declared war on the West. Bergen has followed his activities closely ever since.

Join us, as Peter Bergen speaks with Yosri Fouda, London Bureau Chief, Al-Jazeera Satellite, about his portrait – comprised of Bergen’s own interviews with more than fifty people who have known bin Laden personally – of the man who has haunted the popular psyche and stymied the world’s mightiest military the last five years.
