Eleven Dimensions of the Unifying Theory

Professor Michael Duff has the ability to explain one of the deepest mysteries of the Universe to a non-specialist audience

Michael Duff was Senior Physicist at CERN in the '80s and took up posts at Texas A&M and University of Michigan before returning to Imperial College, where he holds the Abdus Salam Chair of Theoretical Physics.  His explanation of the Unified Theory brings together the fundamental forces of the universe in one single theory, and he will introduce his contention that there are eleven dimensions, not the four that we are familiar with, nor the ten that other academics propose.
