Diane Abbott MP, George Galloway MP and Bob Crow (RMT) discuss who inspires their beliefs and decisions.
Who were the most influential individuals and organisations in the labour movement? Who inspires the politicians and trade unionists of today? This unique one-day event will ask leading figures in todayâs labour movement to describe the people or groups who inspired them in their beliefs and decision to lead a career in politics.
Speakers include: Diane Abbott MP on Rosa Luxembourg and women in revolutionary politics, George Galloway MP on Labour leader George Lansbury, and Bob Crow, General Secretary of the National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers (RMT) on the labour movement.
